The fare is 2,700 pesos (~US$$0.65).<br \/>Taxis are plentiful and cost around 10,000 pesos (~US$$2.50) within local areas, and about 20,000 between Rodadero and Santa Marta.<br \/>Uber has arrived recently, but it&#039;s not yet as common as it is in Medell\u00edn or Bogot\u00e1. Most drivers are taxi drivers who use the app, so the price difference is minimal, but the convenience may be worth it.<br \/>Motorcycle taxis, or &quot;motos,&quot; are very common in Santa Marta. They cost between 4,000 and 5,000 pesos (~US$1.00 \u2013 1.25) in local areas, and up to 10,000 pesos between Rodadero and Santa Marta. Always ask the price before getting on. Although many people use them even to get to Minca, a taxi or bus would be safer.
